I suppose. Is there an entrance in Level 11? Near Base Beta, maybe?

                Digital Diary - Entry 04/20/2019

Normally, I would be writing back in Base Beta, but I'm too infatuated with this place to head back for a while.

Let me start from the beginning. After I got those emails, I looked around outside of the base, and sure enough? This big, static-y door was on the side of a building. I stepped through, and sure enough, they weren't lying!

A photo of a tall, pink, seemingly hallway. The ceiling is pitch black and there are windows on the left and right side that lead to static.

I was a little shocked at just how vibrant the place was. You'd think that something so bright would hurt to look at, but it's honestly, well, "pretty," haha.

But the strangest thing happened when I was taking my photos. Some of the text on my camera's screen changed. In the corner, it said something like "Blair? Is that you?" Naturally, I was extremely confused. I said something back, probably something like "what the hell," and then it changed again to "It's me!" It went on and on apologizing for startling me, saying it hoped it wasn't too much of a bother bringing me all the way out here.

It admittedly took me far too long to realize I could respond, and it could hear me.

I asked how it was doing this, to which it said it wasn't sure—something about how it could always do stuff like this, modifying text and all that. It then asked me if I could take out my laptop so it could speak on that instead, which was a bit odd, since it was tucked away in my backpack. But I did. I even opened up a text-to-speech program I had, so it had an actual voice to it.

I suppose I should stop saying "it" now when referring to Pink. That's her name. She went on and on, mainly about how happy she was to have someone to talk to. Could you imagine being stuck in a box with only the slightest chance of someone coming by? And an even smaller chance of them being able to speak to you in the first place? That's Pink's life.

I wanted to stay and chat for longer, but I unfortunately had a meeting to attend back at Base Beta. I told her I would be back over the next few days to chat more, and maybe even help her write a proper article about her level.

So… "Level 263 - "Pretty Pink," coming soon to a GPD near you!

                  Level 263's entrance.

                  Description:

Level 263, also known as Pretty Pink, is a seemingly endless, repetitive hallway with large, segmented windows on both sides. Both the walls and carpet are colored a vibrant shade of pink, with the carpet being slightly darker. The windows themselves do not function as actual windows, instead being solid surfaces with a constantly changing static texture. The ceiling is approximately 55 ft (~17 m) tall, and is pitch-black in color.

                  Pink:

Level 263 possesses a consciousness that can be spoken to through any device that can display text. This consciousness refers to herself as "Pink." Pink was able to access the GPD1 and attempted several times to make an article about itself, asking (and later pleading) for wanderers to visit, under the account name "pretty_pink."

Pink, when able to speak with wanderers, is incredibly friendly and eager to have a conversation. Likewise, she displays great sadness and disappointment when wanderers leave.

                  Discovery

As mentioned previously, Pink was only made known through her attempts to make GPD pages on herself. While these pages were removed, Researcher Blair Summerton reached out to the account and later visited the level. A recorded interaction with Level 263 and Pink is below.

                  Recording 04/26/2019

The following is a transcript of Researcher Blair Summerton's recordings of Level 263 and Pink, which was conducted as a follow-up to her first entry to the level.

                  Recording time: 14:30 MST2
                  Recorder: Researcher Blair Summerton

                  Entities:

Except for Pink herself, there are no entities present on Level 263. However, she has claimed that some have wandered in on occasion. All of which either left immediately or walked far enough to die from exhaustion or starvation.

                  Entrances and Exits:

                  Entrances

Currently, the only known stable entrance to Level 263 is located near Base Beta in Level 11. However, entrances have sporadically been seen in numerous other levels, including (but not limited to) Level 0, Level 5, Level 37, Level 141, and Level 389.

                  Exits

Level 263 can easily be exited by simply turning around. The exit will always lead straight back to where you came from, even despite its instability.
