A watermelon in the fields. Notice its strong vines.
Level C-26 is the 26th level in the Backrooms C cluster.
Description:
Level C-26 is an endless melon field; the melon fields randomly grow all types of watermelons. It is noteworthy that the watermelons seem to not experience the effects of growth cycles and metabolism—all maintaining a perfect stage of ripening, and for an unknown reason, almost every watermelon has strong vines.
The east of Level C-26 has a brick wall that faces the sky and endlessly extends left and right (and even below the ground). On the wall is an indestructible iron door, which has the following words on a note stuck on it:
Onyx should stay at home obediently! I will come home in half an hour! After that, we will eat watermelons together!^^
As of now, all wanderers who left Level C-26 did so within half an hour; there do not exist any records of people who left the level after half an hour. As of now, it is certain that an unknown entity will "come home" through the iron door in half an hour, causing casualties of personnel. The melon fields have a black cat, which is thought to be the "Onyx" on the note.
The disappearance rate within Level C-26 is inexplicably high. According to eyewitnesses of fellow wanderers, the missing personnel's final action is always "touching the little cat," and then they "suddenly" disappear; at the same time, they discovered that new watermelons often grow from there.
Due to the eeriness of the situation above, it is not recommended to eat the watermelons/escape the level while carrying watermelons. In reality, as some reports have stated, watermelons cannot be taken out of the level; they will disappear at the exit.

Entrances and Exits:
Entrances:
- Through a hallway containing a line of various media-playing devices in Level C-23.
- No-clipping at Level C-17 has a chance of entering this level.
- No-clipping while touching the walls at Level C-20.
Exits:
- In front of the iron door is a locked wooden door; going through it will safely lead to a skylight on Level C-67. People can find the key in the melon fields, but for some reason, the black cat always follows the wanderers and intentionally or unintentionally hides where the person is searching.
