I read a bit of this one whilst it was in drafts, so I already had some idea of where it was going. In general, I'm not a big fan of stories about immortals (too often it feels just like the same 5 ideas retreaded constantly), but there's more than enough juicy history here to make up for that. There's so much detail and random little stories that it genuinely does feel like walking through a museum.
The decision to only use 2 digits for the year in each recording is really clever in my opinion, because it leaves us wondering when the last transcript actually occurred. 2199? 2299? 3099? It's impossible to tell.
Overall, a great page. Not much I can critique for such a seasoned author.
