Not that I didn't think it would be good, but this is peaker than I expected.
The way the phenomenon and its effects were discovered feel perfectly natural, it's presented in a rather nice way, and the ending pretty much perfects the article.
While this doesn't exactly push the boundaries of writing, I would say this is probably one of the best articles I've read this con.
