I think there won't be different meanings after changing.

Would changing the sentence to the following make it clearer?

"However, abandoned items from other locations are known to reappear on Level 179, so there is that speculation an individual discovered a way to capture and transport these points, and upon the person's death, their sound points were transported to Level 179."

The random "that" in sentence probably didn't help. That was a typo.

Recently, I found a sentence in the article that made me wondering.

However, abandoned items from other locations are known to reappear on Level 179, so there is that speculation an individual discovered a way to capture and transport these points, and upon their death, their sound points were transported to Level 179.

Does "their" mean the sound points or the "individual"? Both of them don't make sense, and I have no idea about it. Can you help me make clear it?

It can depend on the geographical location and the individual preferences. In the US, it is common to include a period inside quotation marks. In the UK in this context it would be common to have the full stop outside the quotation marks, and given that I do use UK English elsewhere in this article it is fair to change it.

Thank you for helping with the article's grammar :)

This phenomenon is collectively known as "phantom sounds."

A punctuation mistake, I think it is:

This phenomenon is collectively known as "phantom sounds".

I have helped you to correct it.
