But in all honesty it didn't hook me in when I first read it, which, even for short tales, is a must have. Something attention grabbing, and knowing the fact that I have the attention span of a goldfish, it should be in the first sentence.

Sadly, I do not like this. But, rather than just downvoting it and walking away, I will say what I don't like about it (and what I do like about it). First thing I don't like is the fact that there really is not much of a description of the actual place, mostly just the picture is carrying the image in my mind. Second, is that it feels more like an even rather than a place (even if it is clearly a place), it just reads that way. It's also hard to read for me, I don't know why. Something I do like is how it's displayed. That's all.
