Anyone else like the idea of a "vanilla canon" here with a summary of the "main" aspects of the backrooms that appear in a majority of levels (Creation of M.E.G., The Lost, Overseers, Major POIs, exit methods, etc.)? There's a lot of vanilla canon elements that are implied throughout the levels and entities but that are hard to pick up as a newcomer, and especially for someone wanting to write a level that doesn't apply to one of the special canons already found on the canon page. It wouldn't mean the creation of a "main timeline", because that would go against the subjectivity of the backrooms, which is a strength, but rather a broad and general summary of the major elements of the sort of basic canon that a lot of the articles on here are written in.
