I upvote this, since I thougt this really fit with classicon!

This just gives off that strong, classic Backrooms feeling. Also, I would totally like to have an IRL equivalent to the Star Juice because it sounds quite refreshing.

Okay, to be honest, this reads like it was written in the "good old days," from the very beginnings of the Backrooms. It is short and sweet, pun intended. The score does NOT do it justice. Hope it avoids deletion and becomes a thing!

All I've got to say is that the "classified information" bit isn't necessary and somewhat disappoints the reader to find that they can't see such "classified information". It may be better to find a different closure to your article. Plus, for there to be an access denied, it would mean someone had to put it there, implying there was a group who wrote and placed your article in the database. So while not directly stated or mention, you tie your article to a group.
To quote the contest page, "The involvement of major groups (such as the M.E.G. or the B.N.T.G.) in your article is discouraged."
Plus, you bring up several interesting details, and then don't dive into them. I really don't like that as a reader, with any article.

Something I don't like with most classic 2020 pages is how they present elements they don't use. Here, almost everything you present is underused: the addiction aspect, the colors, the drink, the classified information part… which makes the overall page feel like a wasted opportunity, despite its potential as an interesting lore element. Downvote for now, but I think a rewrite with proper expansion of each part to make everything both useful and interesting for the overall universe.

Yeah so you just made drugs in the Backrooms a thing, right? /lh

More seriously, I think the "addictive" aspect of your object is interesting and could have been further developed. I think the idea of an object which would be useful in small doses but dangerous in higher doses really fits the survival aspect of the Backrooms! Another small gripe is the "calming effect" the object gives, which seems unnecessary in my eyes. Maybe it should be an effect when consumed, furthering the risk of addiction, as wanderers may want to use it while under stress.

It is a novote for me, but it could develop into an upvote if slightly reworked.
