"So what's the point of this tale" well the UEC hates the Actor, the Actor hates the UEC, attempted murder happens
Had this tale also included something about the person found dead in the lake while he was alive, it would have been written in first person
"what" y'know, first person who attacked the Actor in first person, second person who attacks the Actor in second person, third person who will attack the Actor in third person?
"is this whole tale a pun on the numerical order of people and point of view in writing" yes
"what's with the page url" I tried to make the url a content warning but who on earth reads the url, so I just made it an in-universe warning from the Actor to the reader that hey, there's some violent death in this one
The Actor initially "mistakes" the "you" in this tale as being the same "you" (intended to be the reader) from his PoI article, hence why he says that the UEC member he meets is the one who did the write-up on him
