About the Author
Hello, I'm Atlas and I'm a writer and teacher. I teach music and English and hold a Master's in English Education. I found the Backrooms through YouTube (Congrats on your film, Kane!) but quickly fell in love with the writing here on the Wikidot. I'm so grateful that I've been able to contribute, please enjoy perusing my articles!
Level 0: "Threshold"
I had the enormous honor (and stress) of rewriting Level 0 for the Backrooms community. This was a project driven by our membership, I built the article based on their feedback. While I did a majority of the writing, I could not have done it without the invaluable contributions from Robert Goerman and
DrAkimoto. They are also wonderful people and writers, please check out their work!
A special thanks to our Greenlight team who helped bring this to fruition, much love to all of you!
Level 1: "Habitable Zone"
I am very lucky that I was able to collaborate on this project with Praetor3005. I contributed the narrative sections while Praetor handled the level proper. He is fabulous!
Level 1.3: "Malignance"
My entry for Canonicon! My second contest winning article, and it set the record for most upvotes in a contest at +67! I tried something really different and incorporated gore and different writing styles to do justice to Saria's Decay Canon.
Level 80: "Sententia Oblita"
This was an extremely fun collaboration with DrAkimoto, thank you for sharing your 100th article with me. What happens to our unfinished thoughts and ideas we've barely put to paper? Well, they sink here in an ever-growing mire of malformed concepts. Also, Blorb Shitto is real,
Level 422.1 "Reflections"
Our contest Entry for Sublayercon! I had the pleasure of collaborating with Robert Goerman on this article, it was super fun working with him and am really proud of our product.
Level 852: "Retail Therapy"
My entry for Classicon, my attempt at a better classic level. First place finish, my first contest win!
Level 853: "Winding Doldrums"
My first article! I wasn't sure what was popular, so I tried to make a classic level while including some unique ideas.
Level 854 "Home Sweet Home"
My second article. I tried an extremely experimental style where I hid the story in the text, but it didn't translate well and sent me back to the drawing board. After several months of work, I produced Level 854, which ended up being some of my favorite writing!
Ataraxia
A traumatic story by myself and user "DrAkimoto" for Duelcon. It explores childhood trauma and our safe spaces.
Entity 21: Anna
A spooky romance put together by myself and user "DrAkimoto" for Valentine Blitz 2026. It explores themes of abuse and toxic relationships.
Object 11: Ghost Lights
Inspired by a ghost light I saw in person, I found it creepy and it inspired me to write this level. I particularly love that it gives everyone a chance to shine on stage.
Phenomenon 20: Recurring Dreams
Is it a level? Is it a phenomenon? Its up for you to decide! I made this as an experimental page to try new stuff, enjoy!
Homeward Bound
My tale series! Please support them and I'll write more!
A man enters the Backrooms searching for his wife, however he enters before the large groups have fully established themselves and find himself in a desolated, unforgiving world.
Canticle
A one-off tale contributing to the Godhand story, Canticle is a gruesome twist on worship and how being devout can blind you.
What's Next?
I have nine(!) rewrites on the way and several other articles, including and my biggest level yet. I'm currently in progress, so I don't have much to share, however, they will be ready soon!
If you need critique, please find me on the TS discord.
Anyways, thanks for reading, and have a great day!
A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO ALL MY CRITICS, GREENLIGHTERS AND THOSE WHO HAVE SUPPORTED ME ALONG THE WAY, Y'ALL ARE SUPER AMAZING!
